Football is back and kicking in the community of Dennery after a one year absence. February 22nd marked the commencement of the Dennery Youth and Sports Dennery Football League "Este 4 All Football Competition". It all started with a SoccerRama on the Dennery Playing Field, the Rama was won by Plante's Place Seria.
The winner of the "Este 4 All Football Competition" will be determined by Points. These games are scheduled for weekends; with every team scheduled to play each other twice.
Saturday March 1st 2008 White House Crew and Piton Travel Young Stars played to a 1 - 1 draw and Sunday 2nd March 2008 La Caye Chesters edged out Plante's Place Seria 2 - 1.

Cricket has also come to life in Dennery after the completion of the upgrade to the the Dennery Cricket Field. It's a little over eight weeks since the young and old cricketers have been practicing on a better playing surface. This have given rise to a few freindly games between teams from the community and outside teams.
The seventh International Seniors Cricket Festival, Organized by Gullivers Soprts Travel of the United Kingdom is taking place in St. Lucia and The Dennery Cricket Field is one of the venues for three of the Cricket Festival Matches. March 4 Shropshire vs St. Lucia , March 6, Berkshire vs Canada and March 11, St. Lucia vs Trinidad.
